How long does a transaction take on b-sharpe?

Once the funds have been received and the conversion confirmed, transfers are usually completed within 1 to 2 working days. Processing times may vary depending on the bank and the destination country.

Are my transfers secure?

b-sharpe is a Swiss financial intermediary, affiliated with SO-FIT, a self-regulatory organisation recognised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). Your funds are held in a bank account domiciled in Switzerland, separate from b-sharpe’s own funds.

Are my funds insured with b-sharpe?

Yes. b-sharpe benefits from insurance cover of up to CHF 5 million, which protects funds against the risks of hacking or misappropriation.

What happens if I lock in a rate but do not send the funds within the specified time limit?

When you lock in a rate, it is valid for a set period (usually 48 hours). The funds must be sent within this timeframe. If the funds are not received within the allotted time, the lock-in may be cancelled. Depending on market movements, fees may apply if the transaction results in a loss.
