Exchanging currency is part of everyday life for many people living or working in Switzerland: salaries, bills, projects, travel, work-related activities… Yet currency exchange transactions are often more complicated and expensive than they need to be.
Founded in Geneva in 2006 by Jean-Marc Sabet, b-sharpe launched its online currency exchange service in 2013. It all started with a simple observation: currency exchange through banks lacks transparency. In addition to this lack of transparency, currency exchange is expensive and the margin is rarely justified. Bank charges are often built into the exchange rate, making them difficult to spot, and the actual cost is rarely made clear. Many people end up paying more than they realise.
We offer a simple and transparent Swiss alternative. Our role is to ensure that every transaction is clear, quick and well-managed, whether you are a private individual, a cross-border worker, a Swiss resident or a business.
